Anushka bonding with Aamir Khan

Written By Filmfare Editorial

Aamir Khan is quite the charming man and Anushka Sharma can certainly vouch for it. If sources close to the actress are to be believed, Anushka has grown rather fond of the actor. The two are currently working together on Rajkumar Hirani's Peekay. What's more, it seems that the actress also looks up to him a great deal and of late, has been relying on him for advice too.

Ranveer taking off his clothes

Written By Filmfare Editorial:

Well, not entirely. But from what we hear, Ranveer Singh took off his shirt the minute he entered Deepika Padukone’s recent private party, which she threw for the success of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. Yes, the same one that had Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor in attendance. And guess what? He had a reason for it too. Apparently, the actor said he needed to cool off as it was rather hot outside. Ranveer has always had exhibitionist tendencies. Perhaps this latest one was an attempt to display his washboard abs. Wink, wink.

Ranbir to play a superhero

After the success of Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Ayan Mukerji’s next project has been in speculation. It is learnt that his next project will star Ranbir like his other projects did. More interestingly, Ranbir will play a superhero on screen for the first time. With this Ranbir joins the league of actors like Hrithik Roshan and SRK who have played superheros on celluloid. We wait to see what Ayan and Ranbir have in store this time.

It is Alia or Shraddha opposite Emraan

Few days back it was announced that Emraan Hashmi is going to reprise Aamir Khan's role for Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahi 2. However there is a tug-of-war between Alia Bhatt and Shraddha Kapoor to reprise Pooja Bhatt's role. According to the sources, producers Bhushan Kumar are keen to have their Aashiqui 2 hit star, Shraddha Kapoor. The Bhatts who are also producing the film are interested in having their homegrown child, Alia Bhatt. Along with the actress, the director of the film is also yet to be finalised.

Kajol or Priyanka in Zoya's next

Ranbir Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan couldn't make time for Zoya Akhtar's next which has siblings at the core of the story. With Ranveer Singh playing the brother's role, Zoya has still not finalised a sister for him for the film. According to the sources, two most talented actresses are being considered, Kajol and Priyanka Chopra. While PC has worked with Zoya's brother Farhan Akhtar with Don, it will be after a hiatus that Kajol will appear on big-screen if she signs the film.

An evening with Lootera

Sonakshi Sinha looked every bit chic as she made an entry in skinny denims paired with a white jacket and stylish glasses at a special screening of her new film Lootera, which will be released this Friday.

Sonakshi was accompanied by Ranveer Singh, who plays the lead opposite her and director Vikramaditya Motwane, at the screening held in a prominent multiplex in Mumbai on Sunday.

The film's co-producer Ekta Kapoor made an early entry and was spotted talking about the film with the guests.

The screening was a star studded affair as many prominent film personalities turned out to catch the film. Karan Johar, dressed in all black, happily posed for shutterbugs and talked about his high hopes from the film while entering the theatre.

Film- makers Zoya Akhtar and Homi Adjania came in together and looked deeply engrossed in conversation. Kiran Rao managed to pull off a casual style statement with elan as she walked in sporting black tights and cool black long top.

English Vinglish director Gauri Shinde came with hubby, filmmaker R. Balki.

"Romance has a different mood in this film. I hope it comes across well," said Motawane, who was widely appreciated for his previous film Udaan. Ekta, who has been producing some different kinds of films, spoke of how she wants the audience to taste variety.

"It's time that audience enjoyed different kinds of films. This film has a universal appeal," she said.

Ranveer Singh, who doesn't miss a chance to jest was in his elements.

However, it was Sonakshi and her mother Poonam Sinha, who were out to show some PDA. Poonam fondly kissed Sonakshi on her cheek and was later seen flaunting the red lipstick marks.
