Kareena, Danny not approached for Shuddhi

Rumours were rife that actress Kareena Kapoor has been approached for a role in Karan Malhotra's next directorial project, Shuddhi.
However, Malhotra confirmed that nothing of this sort has happened.
Besides, there were also reports that veteran actor Danny Dengzongpa has been roped in to play a pivotal role in the film.

"We have not approached Danny," stated Karan.
The director, who was acclaimed for his directorial debut Agneepath, said that the film will go on floors by November.
Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions, Shuddhi is a love story, which stars Hrithik Roshan in the male lead.
The female lead is still to be finalised. Roshan played lead in Malhotra's Agneepath too.
