The movie is named ‘Fugly’ and will be helmed by kabir Sadanand and produced by Kumar’s Grazing Goat Pictures.
“We have Vijender in our film. He was perfect for the role. He will go through acting workshops,” Sadanand said.
The filmmakers have been in talks with Vijender Singh for a while now and finally a deal has been struck.
“It is a social-thriller film with a strong message,” Sadanand said while refusing to divulge details about the issue that the film will highlight.
Besides Singh, there are other actors aswell but the director hasn’t given any more details about the cast. “We have some actors on our wish list, but we would not like to take any names,” Sadanand said.
Besides this movie which is set to go on the floors by August, Sadanand is now looking forward to his next movie, “Golu aur Pappua’, a comedy that will be starring Vir Das and Kunal Roy Kapoor.
“The shooting is over. The film is in the post-production stage. We are looking for a release date,” Sadanand said.
