Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn
seemed like the most-wanted celebrity at the audio launch of Singham 2
as people had held their breath to see the Singham actor unveil the
music of the Tamil film.
But they were left heart broken when they received the news that
Ajay Devgn won’t be attending the event and this left many to wonder why
did he not turn up. Many felt that it was a publicity stunt made by the
Singham 2 team but that’s not true! Here’s the real story!
Ajay Devgn was scheduled to attend the launch accompanied by director Rohit Shetty.
But according to our sources, the actor and director had boarded a
charter from Mumbai which ended up landing in Bangalore instead of
Chennai due to bad weather.
With all the efforts, Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty decided to drive
down to Chennai, but it also did not work for some reasons. As a last
attempt to bring them to the event, Surya arranged for an aircraft, a
Falcon.
Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty even tried reaching their destination
through road but that also couldn’t work due to some reasons. Surya,
arranged an aircraft, for the duo which ended up failing aswell. The
flight they took landed in Ahmedabad due to no fuel and they had to
travel back to Mumbai the next morning.
The audio of Singham 2 launched on Sunday (June 2) at Chennai Trade
Centre. It was originally supposed to be launched by Ajay Devgn and
Kannada actor Sudeep.
Singham 2 has been given June 14 as it’s release date and the Telugu version shall hit the theatres simultaneously.
